On the two-hour drive to
With the way she described her experience to me, it makes me want to go to that spa oasis and experience first hand the heavenly touch of their masseurs in spa uniforms. I asked my friend if I could go with her the next time she goes there and I am so glad she said yes. It would really be great to have a body massage once in a while for we know that massage has been proven to reduce symptoms of stress related illnesses. I can just imagine myself in the hands of a massage expert, transporting me a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. What a sweet heaven!
I am so glad that hubby finally brought me to the Asian Market tonight. We went to H-Mart in
After shopping, we went to Captain D for some dinner. I also like this place even if their foods are greasy but they are still good as long as you only eat there once in a while. It has been a while since the last time we were there. My bug ate lots of her chicken fingers and I am so happy about it. All in all, I had a wonderful Friday and I wish you had a good one, too. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
One of the places that hubby and I would like to see is
Oh My God! Those were the words I uttered when I got a message from Malou, my former colleague that Dodoy, one of my former workmates in the City Council’s Office of Bislig City, Philippines, died the other day. He was in still in his late 40’s. I talked to Malou last night on the phone, and I have learned that Dodoy had been in and out of the hospital due to some intestinal problem leading to his death.
I am really sad to hear this news. In fact, I am still stunned! I just couldn’t believe it. To Dodoy, you must be happy because you are in the Kingdom of our Lord now; and may you rest in peace.
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Well, as what my colleague Malou said that LIFE MUST GO ON…
I love shopping online. When you know what you want and you are sure of your sizes, you will be confident doing it. I have several online stores that I always visit especially when they have a lot of online shopping deals. With the kind of economy we have right now, I know that all of us are doing any possible means to save extra bucks. That’s why I always do comparison shopping between my favorite stores here in the net or in the mall before I buy stuffs.
My husband and I love to shop in wholesale stores for you can also save a lot especially if you buy in bulk, not to mention the rebates. Why, the other day we were so happy that we got cash back rebates check in the mail from one of our favorite wholesale stores. Though it wasn’t a big amount but any small amount is already a big help for us. Well, I know that this not a novel idea for I am sure that everybody is doing this, too but it just feels great that you save a little bit while shopping online or in your favorite stores/mall. Have a lovely Sunday everyone!

We really have to do our grocery shopping tonight as soon as hubby is off from work. We were not able to do our groceries last weekend for we were occupied with other stuff at home and hubby had to do some side job, too. We are out of a lot of stuff especially my bug’s fruits. She is so funny because she has been asking by enumerating all the fruits that she likes every hour. You will really go nuts with all her asking this and that.
What makes it funnier is she will answer herself that we are out of this and that. She would say: “Mommy, we need to go to the grocery store! We have to buy this and that.” She would really name all the stuff that we need to buy. So, we really need to do this exciting grocery shopping tonight. Sheesh! I hope hubby can get home earlier so we can also swing by the Asian Market. I need a couple of things from that store.
Okay, guys I have to get going now. I hope that all of us will continue to have a wonderful Monday. Have a good one all!

“Fruit of the angels” as what it was reputably known for because of its deliciously sweet taste with musky undertones and a soft, butter-like consistency. It was once considered as exotic, but they can now be found in markets throughout the year. Its tree produces all year round, though there is a slight seasonal peak during summer and fall.
One of its health benefits is the colon cleansing power of the fruit because of its nutrients which have also been shown to be helpful in the prevention of colon cancer. Its fiber is able to bind to cancer-causing toxins in the colon and keep them away from the healthy colon cells. The folate, Vitamin C, beta-carotene, and Vitamin E within the said fruit have been associated with a reduced risk of colon cancer. Indeed, this fruit is truly a wonder, and I am only referring to no other than Papaya!

As I have told you guys that we are not planning on doing anything this weekend because my little girl is still under the weather. Though she is feeling a bit better, she still has coughing fits at times. She is still on her full regimen of her medicines. Hopefully, tomorrow we can back off on two of her medicines.
So, we were just at home the whole weekend. How exciting ha! But we are still thankful for hubby did two side jobs this weekend. That means extra money for groceries, YAY! Yes, that’s what we did this afternoon. We went to the Asian Store to pick up some stuff especially rice. I just can’t live without my rice! While we were there in that area, hubby also bought me a pound of pig roast to make up for my hometown’s feast day that I missed in the
That’s how our weekend went, guys. How about you? I truly hope you had a wonderful and a safe weekend.
I can’t believe that I snoozed off while watching my Dancing With The Stars show. Geez! Three of my girlfriends – Sharon, Bunny and Alleth with Baby Maddie were here the whole day today. We had fun just hanging out here in my tiny abode, chitchatting and what else, eating of course! Kate also had fun playing with cutie Maddie. Golly, we were so full that was probably why I dozed off in the middle of my favorite show. It’s okay for I can still watch the performances on youtube. I truly had fun today with my friends. I hope they had, too. My, did you see my big YAWN! LOL! Oh well, I better follow hubby and my little girl to the dream world then. Wishing we all have a goodnight sleep. See you tomorrow!
